When your SAMSUNG ML-1640 or other printer shows this sign: both red and yellow LED lights are blinking and it is not responding to computer commands, not printing, not working with manual button commands, then it is time to visit a professional so they can fix the printer mainboard.

I have tried everything, but there are some resistors and capacitors or other things that should be changed so the printer can continue working.
