Welcome to second presentation of Learning Hindi for Beginners. In the previous video lesson we discussed about Greetings and Salutations . Now in this second lesson, we will learn how to say - How are you ? .

Before that we need to learn few new vocabularies

Aap आप- You ( formal)
Tum तुम - You (friendly)
Too/Tu तू - You (intimate / informal)
Kaise कैसे(M) / Kaisi कैसी (F) - How
Hain हैं - To be verb
Therefore,to say formally how are you , in Hindi language , we have to say -

Aap Kaise Hain ? आप कैसे हैं ?

Aap Kaisi Hain ? आप कैसी हैं ?

Friendly , to your age people -

Tum Kaise Ho ? तुम कैसी हो ?

Tum Kaisi Ho ? तुम कैसी हो ?

For very intimate people -

Tu Kaisa Hai ? तू कैसा है ?

Tu Kaisi Hai ? तू कैसी है ?

Let's learn to use this in few Hindi Sentences -

Oh Anil, tum kaise ho ? ओह अनिल , तुम कैसे हो ? Oh Anil, how are you ?

Namaskar Shreemati Sunita Jee, Aap Kaisi Hain ? नमस्कार श्रीमती सुनिता जी , आप कैसी हैं ? Hey Mrs. Sunita, How are you ?

Namaste ! Kaise Ho Mere dost ? नमस्ते कैसे हो मेरे दोस्त ? Hi , how are you my friend ?
