haj mirza ahga Emami
Mirza Agha Emami was born in Isfahan on the eighth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1300 AH (1260 solar year). He belonged to the Sayyid family of Imamis in Isfahan. His father, Seyyed Mohammad Hossein, was a painter specializing in the Gol-o-Morgh (flower and bird) style, and his uncle, Mirza Nasrollah Emami, was a renowned painter during the Naseri era. Mirza Agha later moved to Tehran, where he studied at the State Industries Assembly under the supervision of Mirza Reza Sani' al-Hayoun. There, he mastered the secrets and techniques of painting and engraving. Afterward, he returned to his hometown and established a workshop in the Stonecutters' Bazaar, where he created most of his artistic works. However, in the later years of his life, he chose seclusion and focused on creating art in his residential home.
