I have discovered the precise method of dividing the circle into 360 degrees. The answer lies within Base Twelve Geometry, and is done on a Base Twelve Cartesian Plane. I will be continuing the process of showing you how to create the 360 degree diagram in this video, and in the videos to come. Please feel free to watch, learn, comment, and enjoy the process.
In this video I am continuing my explanation as to how to draw a diagram which divides the circumference of a circle into 360 equal sections. I go over the first steps of drawing the "seed of life", which then builds into the more complex pattern upon which the entire diagram is based. I then go over the next steps in working with the dodecagon pattern in order to continue positioning the sections of the diameter onto the circumference of the circle. I continue using base twelve math, and I show you how we are using the lattice points in units of square root of two in order to build the structure which supports the diagram for 360 degrees. In this video I remain focussed on the very first ring of the diagram in order that you understand it very clearly before moving on to the next rings in the pattern.
To put it even more simply I am introducing you to the basics of Base Twelve Math and Base Twelve Geometry, (otherwise known as dozenal math and dozenal geometry, or perhaps even Sacred Geometry) and I am presenting this information to you in the most straightforward and accessible way that I can. Understanding the geometry of The Base Twelve Dodecagon and 360 Degrees is a phenomenal first step in understanding Base Twelve Geometry as a whole.
